How Brown Turns to Green

My spot is not the same.

Spring is coming.

I am by the stream, watching.

This is fun.

Muddy, not ready to sprout yet.

Bubbly, yucky, mushy.

Brown.

Brown, yeah.

 

My spot has lamb’s ear now.

It has some brown,

But it has a lot of green now.

Stretching, dancing,

Waving to the other grass sprouts.

Green.

Green, yeah!

Finally, spring is here!
