My Ice Cube Keeper
To make my ice cube keeper, I used a cup, an ice pack, a sock, and my ice cube. I put the ice in the sock, and I rolled the sock up and put it in the cup. I put the ice cube next to the ice. I predicted that my ice cube would last 180 minutes.
Time | Size in mm |
10:00 | 45mm |
11:00 | ?mm |
12:00 | ?mm |
1:00 | ?mm |
2:00 | ?mm |
3:00 | 2mm |
At 3:00 there was still a tiny bit of ice cube left, so my ice cube keeper lasted over 300 minutes. If I had the chance to do the experiment again, I would do almost the same thing but instead of a sock I would use some solid tape that would keep heat out even more.
